Dear shareholders, dear business partners,

In 2010 METALIMEX a. s., with its registered office in Prague, met and exceeded all key financial performance indicators. I am pleased to report that not only the business plan was met, but also that there was a significant year-on-year growth compared to 2009.

Following the elimination of one-off effects on the Company’s financial performance in 2008, we succeeded in maintaining the Company’s performance in 2009 (amidst the economic recession) practically at the same level, ensuring the Company’s financial stability.

The 2008 business year is characterised by worsened development in capital and commodity markets, primarily in the second half of 2008. The achieved results can be evaluated positively in this situation, because the set goals have been reached.

Annual report 2007

In 2007 for the first time the results of METALIMEX a. s. are not influenced by the sales of solid fuels as the sale of the Fuels division as at 1 June 2006 influenced the overall trading performance of the Company and its results of operations in 2006.
